Who We Are

The Universal Fraternity Banquet is a UK charity aiming to empower families, children and young people who have come to Birmingham from East African countries seeking refuge.

Often having experienced trauma, refugee families need support to build their lives in the United Kingdom. Children need help to connect with their wider families. Young people need help with language, social integration, faith formation and psychological health.

We want to help them to maximise their potential and improve the quality of their lives.

What we do

We plan and support amazing projects to educate, build community and reduce poverty and isolation to help change the lives of refugee families from East African countries in Birmingham and across the United Kingdom
